Quicker solutions, fewer barriers
When a project is deemed essential for the national economy, either because of the amount of investment involved or the number of jobs it might create, those long administrative procedures must be trimmed down and all contacts with public authorities simplified.
In order to do just that, the Permanent Investor Support Committee (CPAI) has a way to facilitate all contacts with public authorities. This is where the PIN status comes in, a qualification reserved for investments that make a significant contribution to our economy.
In short, it creates conditions for quicker solutions and fewer barriers.
How to qualify?
In order to qualify for this priority treatment, some conditions have to be met:
- An overall investment of at least 25 million euros;
- To create 50 or more jobs directly;
- To be presented by reputable and reliable sponsors;
- An outstanding innovation level and production of exportable goods/services;
- Reduced carbon footprint;
- To promote local and national economy.
